APS療法は一言でいうと抗炎症性の成分が濃縮されたPRPです。
1回の注射で一般的なPRPと類似する作用が1年にわたり作用する可能性が示唆されていますが、キットが高額なので治療費がかなり高額となっているようです。
まだデータが乏しく効果の優劣を十分に行うことは難しいのが現状です。(Kon et al. 2018) (Smith et al. 2016)
① 信頼性の高い先行する臨床研究がある点 権威ある整形外科雑誌にエビデンスレベル 1(科学的根拠としての信頼性が最も高い)の同一または同一種類とされるPRPを用いている研究結果が複数報告されており、安全性・治療効果を確認することができる。

② 基礎的な研究からの効果の裏付けがある点 この種のPRPについてはヒトの細胞用いた研究や治療対象とする疾患の動物を用いた研究などから、組織再生に有効と考えられている効果が複数確認されている。
変形性関節症における軟骨の分解と疼痛を引き起こすサイクル(NF-kB)を緩和する働き(Yin et al. Med Sci Monit, 2016)等

腱変性において、炎症低減、組織分解に関連する成分の抑制する作用(Yan et al. AJSM, 2017)
